The Notifications module shows all alerts sent by the school. It is accessible from the bottom navigation bar (the "Notifications" tab with a red unread count badge) or from Menu → Communication → Notifications.
What You See
- Notification List: All notifications are listed with:
- Icon indicating the type (homework, fee, exam, notice, etc.)
- Title and message
- Timestamp (when the notification was sent)
- Unread indicator: A colored dot or highlight for unread notifications
- Tap to Act: Tapping a notification takes you directly to the relevant section (e.g., tapping a homework notification opens the Homework screen).
In-App Notification Popup
When you are using the app and a new notification arrives, a small popup appears at the top of the screen. Tap it to navigate to the relevant section, or swipe it away to dismiss.
Managing Notification Settings
To turn push notifications on or off:
- Go to Menu → Settings.
- Under Push Notifications, toggle the System Notifications switch.
- When enabled, you will receive real-time alerts on your phone for homework, fees, exams, and other important events.
