IPSC Student App 28/08/2026 2 min read

The IPSC Student App is the official Android mobile application for students and guardians of Islamabad Public Schools & College. It provides instant access to attendance, homework, exam results, fees, notices, circulars, live chat with the school, and much more — all from your phone.

Downloading the App

The app is available as an APK from your school. Install it on any Android device running Android 7.0 or above. Once installed, tap the IPSC icon to launch it.

Logging In for the First Time

  1. Splash Screen: When you open the app, you will see the IPSC logo on a splash screen for a few seconds while the app loads.
  2. Select Your Role: On the login screen, tap Student or Guardian at the top. Choose Student if you are a student logging in with your own credentials. Choose Guardian if you are a parent logging in to monitor your child.
  3. Select Your School: Tap the school selector field to see a list of all IPSC campuses. Tap your campus from the list. The school logo and name will appear at the top of the login screen.
  4. Enter Username:
    • Students: Enter your Admission Number or Username (depending on what your school has configured).
    • Guardians: Enter your registered Email, Phone, or Username.
  5. Enter Password: Type your password. Tap the eye icon on the right side of the password field to show or hide what you typed.
  6. Tap Login: Press the blue Login button. If your credentials are correct, you will be taken to the Dashboard.

Forgot Password?

If you cannot remember your password, tap "Forgot Password?" below the Login button. Enter your registered email or phone number, and a password reset link or OTP will be sent to you.

Biometric Login (Fingerprint / Face)

After your first successful login, you can enable biometric login for faster access:

  1. Go to Menu → Settings.
  2. Under Security & Access, toggle on Biometric Authentication.
  3. The next time you open the app, it will prompt you to use your fingerprint or face recognition instead of typing your password.

Note: Your device must have a fingerprint sensor or face unlock hardware for this feature to work.

Force Update & Maintenance Screens

If the school releases a mandatory update, you will see a Force Update screen asking you to update the app before continuing. If the school's server is under maintenance, a Maintenance screen will appear temporarily — just wait and try again later.
